UAH 1.8 Million for Kherson Region: How EKO MARKET, Kalush Orchestra, and "Tvoya Opora" Raised Funds to Help a Hospital

In March 2024, the charitable foundation "Tvoya Opora", the music group Kalush Orchestra, and the EKO MARKET supermarket chain joined forces to raise UAH 1.8 million to support a medical institution in the Kherson region.

The initiative aimed to purchase water purification systems for a hospital that serves residents of several local communities. After the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant and pollution of the Dnipro River, access to drinking water in the region became severely limited, and in some areas, it was completely unavailable. Installing water purification systems became critical to ensure safe drinking water for patients and medical staff.

Funds were raised both through the charity’s website and at checkout counters in all EKO MARKET stores.
