Crédit Agricole Donates Expert-Class Anesthesia and Respiratory Machine Worth UAH 2.1 Million to IPAG
Crédit Agricole has donated a state-of-the-art anesthesia and respiratory machine valued at UAH 2.1 million to the intensive care unit of the National Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology (IPAG). Thanks to this equipment, doctors will be able to perform over 1,000 complex surgeries annually on children with severe conditions.
The primary function of this machine is to "breathe for the child" during complex surgeries. It supports accurate anesthesia delivery and controls oxygen flow into the body.
“Supporting the healthcare system and helping children hold a special place in Crédit Agricole’s charity projects and our hearts, as this is the future of Ukraine. Every year, about 1,000 children are admitted to IPAG’s intensive care unit, and this new device will help save their lives. This initiative is part of our global corporate social responsibility program, We Care!, which the bank has been implementing for over six years. We sincerely strive to invest in the country, in the health of the nation, and to contribute to those who need it most,” said Carlos de Cordoue, CEO of Crédit Agricole, during his visit to IPAG. He expressed deep gratitude to the doctors for their professionalism and dedication.
“We are pleased with our longstanding and fruitful cooperation with Crédit Agricole, as we share common values – to do good systematically and effectively. We thoroughly review every hospital request and, together with the bank, purchase the equipment that is truly needed. This systematic approach allows us to steadily improve the quality of healthcare in Ukraine, and most importantly, to save more lives,” added Valeria Tatarchuk, founder of the “Tvoya Opora” foundation, during the joint visit to IPAG.
