We Opened the First Inclusive Playground in Bucha!

Bucha has officially welcomed its first inclusive playground, designed according to British accessibility standards. This new space allows all children, regardless of physical abilities, to play, grow, and feel like part of a big, friendly community.

The opening ceremony was attended by:
– Valeriya Tatarchuk, founder of the Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation
– Dmytro Cheichuk, First Deputy Mayor of Bucha
– Vitalii Nesvietov, father of a wheelchair-using boy, together with his son Yaroslav

The project was implemented by the Tvoya Opora Foundation with financial support from the Children of Ukraine Foundation (UK) and with the assistance of the Bucha City Council.

The creation of this playground marks an important step toward ensuring equal opportunities for all children. Although accessible infrastructure is still limited in many parts of Ukraine, initiatives like this are helping to change that — making urban spaces more inclusive and comfortable for everyone.
