Crédit Agricole Ukraine, in collaboration with the charitable foundation "Your Support," has donated a state-of-the-art anesthesia and respiratory apparatus worth UAH 2.1 million to the intensive care unit of the National Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology (IPOG) in Kyiv. This expert-class equipment enables doctors to perform over 1,000 complex surgeries annually on children with various pathologies. The apparatus plays a crucial role by "breathing for the child" during intricate operations, ensuring proper anesthesia and oxygen supply.
Carlos de Cordoue, CEO of Crédit Agricole Ukraine, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting the healthcare system and aiding children, viewing these efforts as investments in Ukraine's future. This initiative is part of the bank's global corporate social responsibility program, "We Care!", which has been active for over six years. Valeria Tatarchuk, founder and CEO of the "Your Support" foundation, highlighted the importance of their long-term partnership with Crédit Agricole. She noted that their collaborative approach ensures that hospitals receive precisely the equipment they need, thereby systematically enhancing the quality of healthcare in Ukraine and saving more lives.
