Life Without Fear: How Vladyslav Overcame a Dangerous Arrhythmia

From birth, Vladyslav had an open foramen ovale in his heart, but by the age of three, the situation had stabilized — he was growing up active and passionate about sports.

At 10 years old, Vladyslav experienced his first tachycardia episode: his heart suddenly raced to 250 beats per minute. That’s when he was diagnosed with paroxysmal tachycardia — a dangerous arrhythmia that can strike without warning, whether during training, at home, or simply while out for a walk.

Later, some episodes became so severe that even emergency services couldn’t immediately stabilize his condition. Doctors warned: the next attack could be fatal.

Vladyslav was referred to the Amosov Institute, where he underwent a radiofrequency ablation — a procedure that removes the source of the arrhythmia and allows a person to live without constant danger.

A month of rest and rehabilitation — and a long-awaited return to dreams, movement, and life without fear.

Vladyslav’s parents are deeply grateful to @lancomeofficial for providing all the necessary medications during the surgery and post-operative care at the Amosov Institute.

His treatment was made possible through the “Big Little Heart” project by the “Tvoya Opora” Charitable Foundation, launched for St. Nicholas Day 2024.
